This project was based on the idea of making a chat bot service that was easy to manage on the backend, allowing any user to easily create conversation flows. I had a lot of creative freedom on this project since the only restrictions were the name "chirrp" and the color orange.
While creating the logo and basic branding/style ideas, we ran into the issue of chirrp looking too similar to the Twitter bird. I decided to make the "bird" motif a lot more stylized, but still something that tied into the project. Chirrp is still essentially a bird that carries messages to the user and that simplifies a platform that is much more complex than it looks.
I was able to explore using a lot more color in the design for the client facing website since we wanted clients to feel like chirrp was bright and easy to use. The backend was much more utilitarian but also required a user flow that made sense.
